Work Like You Do Not Need the Money

When? When can i work like i no need the money. Work because i want to, because it is something i love. All i know is that currently this is impossible. Not at this moment, not anytime. But I know one day i will. One day, I will travel the world. One day, I will see at the best seat at The Phantom of the Opera. (I will see phantom walk on the top of the stage, I will see a whole corpse, not only the legs of the Corpse.) One Day...

Okay stop dreaming and back to work...

Long Weekend

Yeah! it is thursday with a long weekend to look forward to. When you stuck in the big old boring working world what more could you ask for right. ok, maybe more annual leave and a higher pay or a more interesting job scope. But right now, i shall be content with the 4 days long week-end. away from all the e-mail answerings and phone ringging, free to do what i want= slack at home and watch tv?
WAHAHA...

珍惜眼前的幸福

when i was a student i thought i had it bad... having to go to school, having to take exams, having to do reading having to attend lectures tutorials and having to do all the projects and coping with all the labs reports and deadlines. THEN I HAD TO GO TO WORK... then i realised that being a student is not bad at all.

First of all, there is at least of variety of activties i can choose from instead of the mundane routins stuff that i have to do. secondly, i can choose whether i want to do it at all, how i want to do it and when i want to do.so there is the freedom of choice, instead of a protocol and ways and rules to do things. last but not least i can go to any websites be it school or private in any part of the school in lecture or or any where, hell i can even watch tv if i want to. cos the school at least in that sense believe that we are old enough to decide whether we want to attend the lecture and old enough to ne responsible for the decision we make. so the is the webcast and there is the tv, it is up to us what we want to watch.

when i went out to work, it is like all of a sudden i am back to primary school where i have to ask for permission for everything i do, and mark attendence for every class.. hell there might be even be a class monitor reporting you to the teacher... damn. why am i going backwards?

Same Theory.

Same as what YIH have done last time, my company decided to turn the aircon to a super low temperature in hope that our brain cells will not rot as fast. However, what the difference is that last time in YIH, it is due to over usage of the brain (cramming last mintue stuff before exams) thus causing the degenration of the brain cells. This time, it is in hope that with the low temperature our brain cells will not degenrate from the LACK of usage. Bleach, this then results in me wearing jacket and jeans and still feeling cold. ontop of it, i STILL feel my brain cells dying off. so, what is the point man.

New Year!

Another year have passed. no more bidding or planning time table ( not that i got plan) for me. fully inducted into the working world... being financially independent. realised that being financially independent is not easy at all, there always seems to be so many things to pay and so many things to buy and monsy never seems to be enough. takes a lot o f planning and budgeting and alot alot of self control and discipline, which i think i totally lack last year... need alot more improvement this coming year. so my new year resolution:

开源节流= more money to spend and more money to save and more money to pay " loan shark"
--> more discipline and self control

lead a more healthy lifestyle ---> try to excerise more.

be happy ---> most important

Motorola L7 and SHA3288S

Attention to who ever pick up my Motorola L7 onboard Comfort Cab SHA3288S on 25 OCT:

I LOST MY MOTOROLA L7 on the 25th October 2006 on a Comfort Taxi SHA3288S. Yes, the phone that i won at the Adventure Singapore 2006, the phone where i had to run , climb, swim absail, cycle to get. So if you happen to take a comfort cab on the 25th October between the time of 8.40pm to 10.30pm and happen to pick up a motorola HP please return it to ME. Yes! i know you took my phone during this period of time and TURN IT OFF on purpose and REFUSE to pick up my call and REFUSE to return my phone to me.

I am telling you there is such thing as karma out there. one day you are going to drop your phone somewhere and nobody is going to return it you. Nobody, and no one is going to sympathise with you because it is your karma. And also, you are going to be on my cursed list forever. You have a phone, you know how you are going to feel when you lost your phone. so for goodness sake, return my phone to me. my phone contains many pictures, contacts and memories that are irreplacable. so please, just return my phone to me.

To you it is just a phone that you can either sell to earn some quick cash, or use as a spare. You can get that easily, for that i would have to replace all my contacts, lost all my irreplace pictures, spend more money and go through all the troubles and emotional trauma. (NOT including getting scolded by my mum.) All this so that you can get a spare phone which you don't even have a charger for goodness sake! You have to buy another charger, while my spare Motorola charger is just going to sit at home collecting dust. So in all, I am telling you....

RETURN ME MY PHONE.

p.s. anyone with any leads of where my phone might be, or you out there decided that you already have enough fun playing with my phone and would like to return it to me. I can be contacted at irau_wei@yahoo.com.sg.

impatience

ok i admit.. i am a super impatience person. so therefore i cannot stand explaining many many times, the same thing over and over and over again... this ranks in my list of cannot stand people after the whinny people...

so when i call to ask abt TRAVEL INSURANCE... You don't answer " Oh, what VEHICLE number."

the whole conversation went like this:

me: Hi, i calling regarding my travel insurance, ref number xxx.

guy: oh, what vehicle number? ---> busy hammering away at keyboard

me: err no it is about my travel insurance claim.... blah blah blah

guy: *still busy hammering at keyboard* may i know what you are calling regarding?

me: [in my mind:$%#@*!] it is regarding my travel insurance blah blah blah ( for the second time)

guy: *continued hammering at keyboard and ignore me then finally* may i know the period of travel? --> ok at least it is a diff question.

me: july blah blah..

guy: hammered at keyboard.... oh is regarding the trip to vietnam in july?

me already at the end of patience: yes, blah blah blah (for the third time)

guy: oh reagrding that, it is ok if i get someone to check and get back to you?

me: yar fine. --> seriously anyone else will be better.

thats all... nothing solved...just simply wasting my time. i mean like seriously, oh man, go get a brain or ears or both lah. TOTALLY CMI.

why is the weekend so short?!!

WHY IS WEEKEND SO SHORT!! who ever invented the week? why is there only 2 days for weekend? that is not fair. we should have equal number of weekdays and week end... hmmm... like 3 days of weekdays and 3 days of weekend and alternate week of 1 day of weekend and weekday to make thing fair right? ok maybe that is a bit the trouble some... other wise we can employ a alternate week working scheme... like we work ofor one week then we rest for one week... cos seriously.. i really dun care if it is a weekday or a weekend.. as long as i dun need to go to work!! wahaha

Announcement

To All who Matters:

Yours truly (that's me) will be back in our beloved little island (also known as Singapore) on the 16th of September 2006.

yup i will be back soon. time passes really fast. and there is still so much i want to do in sydney. guess i will have to visit again, but not anytime soon i think. first because i am getting abit sick of the protein and carbo based food here. ( if i am starting to think about eating salad, something is seriously wrong...) then there is obviously the financial aspect of it, i simply have no money left. yup, i spent most of my money off, going on trips and buying stuff... and i haven't finish all the stuff yet.. oh no... that leads to another problem... i have NOT enough space to bring everything back!! and i want to buy krispy cream. (yum yum)

ok, enough of complains. on to more exciting stuff!! I CLIMBED THE SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE!!! cool right?! ok, it burn about 200AUD off my pocket... other than that it is preety cool... it is super cold up there and the wind speed is 45km/h ( sodespite putting on alot of weight, you can still feel the wind pushing you as you walk.) and the most important thing is that we saw the city cast a shadow of the bridge onto the sky. and the only place that you can see it is ontop of the bridge. and no sorry, there is no picture of that cos NO camera was allowed on the climb. BUT the guide did take a few pictures for us and charge us super ex for the photos, so in the end we can only afford 2 out of the five we took.... so here there are!!

we dressed like we are going for a space mission like that... with jump suit and high tech headphone that send vibration through the cheekbone... among other things that is hook on to us... haha
